Side panels are a great spot for flags, initials, numbers and small icons. They add value to a cap without crowding the front.
Sizes and limits
Side designs are usually 2 to 2.5 inches wide and up to 1.75 inches tall. The panel curves in two directions, so simple shapes stitch best.

The wearer's left is the most common. Tell us which side so we orient the design correctly.
Can text run along the side?
Short text in block capitals works. Long phrases are better on the back arch.
